What is Smart Eligibility and how does it work?

Updated:

Today a creator might be in another agency, have a pending invitation or have turned invitations off. None of that is permanent: contracts end, invitations lapse, settings change. Smart Eligibility watches the creators you care about for you and tells you the moment their status changes.

How it works

  • On the Smart Eligibility page you create a list and name it yourself, like “June candidates” or “From competitors”. You can have as many lists as you like.
  • You add creators by @username or profile link, and you can separate several with commas. Any creator Kasheef has seen on its league boards can be added.
  • Each creator's current status is saved as soon as you add them, and the first check runs within a few minutes.
  • After that, the list is checked again at the frequency you choose, using the TikTok agency account you linked to the panel.
  • When a status changes, the change appears in the list's Changes tab, and you get an email if you chose to.

Which changes you hear about

  • Became eligible: they were in another agency, had a pending invitation or had invitations off, and now you can invite them.
  • Opened to premium invitations: they were eligible for a normal invitation and now premium is open too.
  • Invitations turned off or account restricted: they were eligible and now they aren't.
  • Any status change: everything, including smaller changes outside the ones above.

A change you don't tick still shows in the list, you just aren't notified.

Check frequency and account capacity

Choose the frequency in Settings › Eligibility › Smart Eligibility: every 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours, 6 hours or once a day. Each list can also run at its own frequency. The more often it checks, the sooner you see a change, but the more of your TikTok account's query capacity it uses.

That capacity is shared with the automatic eligibility check and with messages. Smart Eligibility checks go ahead of the automatic check, but you cap how much of the capacity they can use. Near the cap, the frequency eases off by itself. Settings show the estimated load in queries per hour.

Notifications

  • Email: goes to the active users on your team. You can choose right away, batched every 15 minutes, or a daily summary.
  • Quiet hours: when on, no email goes out between 23:00 and 08:00; it arrives as a batch in the morning.
  • Panel: a red count appears next to Smart Eligibility in the top menu, and changes stay in the list's Changes tab.

Managing lists

  • Remove from the list once eligible: after telling you, it takes the creator off the list by itself.
  • Stop watching after 7 days in a row not found: closed accounts don't waste your capacity.

When to use it

For creators you can't invite today but don't want to miss. You can message an eligible creator straight away; Smart Eligibility makes sure you're the first to know when a closed door opens. Link it to an automatic message rule and your message goes out the moment the creator becomes eligible.
