What are diamonds on TikTok Live, and how are they counted?
Updated:
On TikTok Live, viewers send gifts they buy with coins. The creator receives those gifts as diamonds. Diamonds are the most direct measure of how much viewers support a creator's Lives.
Diamonds and league score
League score is made of the diamonds a creator receives during that league day and resets when the league day ends. So the score on the league board shows that day's diamonds.
How Kasheef counts daily diamonds
- It reads every market's board every 10 minutes.
- It stores a day's diamonds as the highest league score seen during that market's league day.
- Values arriving in the first two hours after the reset that continue the previous day's score are credited to the previous day, so Lives ending around the reset are not lost.
Diamond leaders
Diamond leaders show the top 50 diamond earners today and over the last 3, 7 and 30 days, per market or worldwide. In the worldwide view a creator seen in two markets is counted once.
What it means for an agency
One strong day can be luck; 7- and 30-day totals show creators who go live consistently. The creator profile shows diamonds day by day alongside an hour-by-hour live heatmap.
